Kiltimagh water supply hit by outages after equipment failure

Uisce Éireann is warning of water supply outages in parts of Kiltimagh and surrounding areas this afternoon.

The disruption follows an equipment failure at the Kiltimagh Water Treatment Plant, which has caused reservoir levels to fall rapidly.

Crews are working to resolve the problem while maintaining supplies to essential services and businesses in Kiltimagh town.

Uisce Éireann says it hopes to restore normal water supplies as quickly as possible and has apologised to customers affected by the outage.
