A change of clergy is coming for a number of Mayo parishes with a reshuffle on the way.
The news has been confirmed by the office of the Archdiocese of Tuam.
Parishes across both Mayo and Galway will see changes as a result.
It’s understood priests will be swapped between parishes such as Roundfort, Robeen, Carras, Aghamore, Achill and others.
Midwest News has contacted the office of the Archdiocese of Tuam, who confirmed an announcement will be made by Archbishop Francis Duffy shortly.
These changes will take effect from September 11th.
