Since its debut in 2016, CIGA design has treated the wristwatch primarily as a piece of wearable architecture, in which raw mechanics become the main visual event. Earning 17 international design awards, including the 2021 GPHG Challenge Watch Prize, the brand consistently challenges conventional watchmaking. Now, the Shenzhen-based manufacturer has completed the EDGE Collection and, alongside it, launched the global “Nothing to Hide” campaign.
The EDGE Collection focuses purely on what it describes as “mechanical attitude” and “structural honesty”. Rather than concealing its inner workings beneath the dial, the collection exposes the gears, layers, and structural order of its movements to the wearer. The ‘Nothing to Hide’ approach is exactly what it sounds like, a straightforward attitude for collectors who genuinely geek out over raw, architectural watchmaking.
The campaign positions the brand’s bestselling Hunter lineup as its hero product, serving as a direct entry point into the wider collection. Across three main product families – Hunter, Vector, and Falcon – the brand delivers a comprehensive look at watchmaking through the lens of industrial design. Below is a closer look at the six new models in this expansive collection.
Hunter Tourbillon
Serving as the flagship of the EDGE Collection, the Hunter Tourbillon delivers the “Nothing to Hide” ethos through 41.50mm by 47.45mm dimensions. The tonneau-shaped case is crafted from Grade 5 titanium, keeping the watch remarkably lightweight yet highly durable, with a modern, micro-sandblasted aesthetic that will inevitably mask scuffs and scratches incurred through daily wear. The curved sapphire crystal provides a direct view of the skeletonised architecture deep within the case, highlighting the tourbillon cage positioned prominently at the bottom of the open dial beneath a twin-barrel arrangement.
Powering this flagship model is the manual-wind Tourbillon Calibre CD-011. Equipped with 26 jewels, it offers a substantial 72-hour power reserve, ensuring it can be set aside for the weekend and still keep time come Monday morning. To ensure legibility against the complex backdrop of carbon, blue, or silver-finished movement components, the hands and indices are treated with dark green Swiss Super-LumiNova (C1). The Hunter Tourbillon secures to the wrist with a quick-release strap system, offering the choice between a matching Grade 2 titanium bracelet or a fluororubber strap for both sporty and utilitarian tastes.

Hunter Automatic Titanium
The Hunter Automatic Titanium shares the same architectural blueprint as the Tourbillon model but opts for a more accessible automatic movement for daily wear. The case keeps the refined 41.50mm by 47.45mm tonneau dimensions and is also made entirely from Grade 5 titanium, delivering the same lightweight wrist presence, with polished chamfers and micro-sandblasted planes. It keeps the heavily skeletonised look, putting the mainspring barrel and gear train on full display under a curved sapphire crystal.
Inside, the watch relies on the self-developed automatic Calibre CD-07 executed in the same carbon, blue or silver finishes. This 24-jewel movement beats away visibly and provides a 40-hour power reserve, driven by a compact 120-degree KE-efficient rotor that winds the watch efficiently without blocking the view. Like the Tourbillon, it features dark green Swiss Super-LumiNova for low-light visibility and is water-resistant to 5 ATM, making it suitable for everyday splashes. It comes on a Grade 2 titanium bracelet with a quick-release mechanism for tool-free strap changes.

Hunter Automatic Steel
Positioned as the “Everyday Edge” within the lineup, the Hunter Automatic Steel provides a heavier, more industrial take on the collection’s skeletonised design. The case proportions are upsized slightly here to a 43mm width and a 48mm lug-to-lug length. If you prefer a watch with a bit more heft, this 316L stainless steel version delivers without messing with the core design. Swapping titanium for 316L stainless steel gives this model a more satisfying heft on the wrist, while keeping the same three-layer tonneau case and curved sapphire crystal. Three models feature a sleek DLC treatment, letting the carbon, black, and gold elements pop. The other is unadorned to match the silver-toned engine components.
The mechanical layout remains visually arresting, once again displaying the self-developed automatic eCalibre CD-07 and inviting the wearer to inspect the interplay of gears. For illumination, this steel variant uses green Nemoto Super-LumiNova from Japan to ensure the time reads clearly against the metallic backdrop. Water resistance is rated at 30 metres, making it suitable for standard daily wear. It’s also paired with a matching 316L stainless steel bracelet with a quick-release system, creating a cohesive, integrated aesthetic from case to clasp.

Hunter Automatic Vintage
The Hunter Automatic Vintage applies a retro-inspired aesthetic to the EDGE Collection’s otherwise modern formula. Using the same 43mm-by-48mm tonneau case architecture as the standard steel model, it’s machined from 316L stainless steel. However, the vintage variant distinguishes itself through its finishing and warm-toned colourways. By applying sand gold, rose gold, and brown gold treatments to the case and movement components, CIGA’s design team has created a watch with a classic look that contrasts sharply with the modern mechanics beneath the curved sapphire crystal.
Mechanically, it’s identical to the standard steel version, powered by the skeletonised self-developed automatic Calibre CD-07 with a standard 40-hour power reserve. Unlike the standard steel model, however, the Vintage edition upgrades the luminous material to dark green Swiss Super-LumiNova (C1) for better nighttime legibility. Furthermore, the water resistance rating is bumped up to 50 metres to match the titanium models. It comes on a micro-sandblasted steel bracelet fitted with a quick-release system, nicely pairing that vintage look with the modern convenience of tool-free strap changes.

Falcon
If tonneau cases aren’t your thing, the Falcon drops the barrel shape in favour of a more traditional round case. Taking a break from the profile of the Hunter line, the Falcon switches things up with a classic round profile. Coming in at 43.5mm wide and a pleasantly slim 9.5mm thick, this steel model proves the exposed-mechanics look works just as well in a circle. It keeps the industrial vibe going with open-worked lugs and symmetrical crown guards, while a raised mineral crystal gives you a totally clear look right through the skeletonised dial.
The Falcon is driven by the self-developed automatic Calibre CD-02 – a 26-jewel movement offering a 40-hour power reserve and open-worked to match the collection’s overarching structural theme. The hands are generously coated with dark green Swiss Super-LumiNova (C1) for low-light visibility. Rated to 50 metres for water resistance, the Falcon is fitted to a 316L stainless steel bracelet that incorporates the collection-standard quick-release mechanism.

Vector
The Vector takes a racing-inspired approach and is arguably the most materially diverse offering in the EDGE Collection. It’s available in three case options: 316L stainless steel, grade 2 titanium, and forged carbon fibre, all measuring 44.5mm in diameter. The Vector features a bold, rounded case topped with a domed sapphire crystal that deepens the dial. Furthermore, its architecture builds on the brand’s visible mechanics concept by using a transparent synthetic support structure, giving the movement a unique floating appearance inside the case.
Powering the Vector is the self-developed automatic Calibre CD-02X – a 25-jewel movement that provides a 38-hour power reserve. As the watch’s visual core, it echoes the look of high-performance automotive engines. Dark green Swiss Super-LumiNova ensures the time can be read clearly in low light, while the robust case construction guarantees 50 metres of water resistance. Leaning fully into a sportier, high-octane aesthetic, all Vector variants come on a durable, woven-patterned fluororubber strap with a quick-release system for immediate, on-the-go adjustments without specialist tools.

Closing thoughts
Since its inception, CIGA Design has earned a reputation for throwing out the traditional dial entirely, turning its timepieces into visual statements by playing with central tourbillons and jumping-hour complications. In that same vein, by putting the inner workings on full display across the Hunter, Falcon, and Vector lines, the EDGE Collection brings the ‘Nothing to Hide’ ethos to life with a genuinely diverse lineup of mechanical watches.
The brand delivers a strong visual identity centred entirely on mechanical honesty, using the movement itself as the primary canvas. Whether you prefer a lightweight titanium tourbillon, a rugged steel daily wearer, or a race-inspired carbon design, there’s plenty of variety here for anyone into industrial design. If you want a striking conversation piece that totally skips traditional Swiss styling without costing a fortune, the EDGE Collection is a hard one to ignore.
