Emmerdale’s Caleb Miligan can’t wait for Joe Tate’s world to come crashing down next week, as he helps Billy Fletcher bring down their mutual archenemy. While Dawn is torn between two lovers, Caleb decides to tell Joe all about her betrayal with Billy, setting off a shocking chain of events that spells danger for the locals…

Not only has he agreed to help Billy do a runner with Dawn by funding their flit, Caleb is also in on the truth it was Kev Barton, not Joe, who was behind the depot attack.
Wanting his nefarious nephew to be blamed for a crime he didn’t commit, Caleb is only too happy to go along with Billy’s lie so that Dawn ditches her fiancé. With the wedding approaching, the pressure is on for all concerned as the deceit deepens.
Handing Billy a wad of cash so he can head off into the sunset for a new life with Dawn and the kids, Caleb is thrilled to be playing a part in destroying unsuspecting Joe.
Although he’s grateful to his boss, Billy can’t help but feel used as a pawn by Caleb to get one over on Joe. In Joe’s eyes, however, his game hasn’t even begun…

A tense standoff ensues between the angry alpha males, and Joe is so affronted by Caleb’s rudeness he withdraws his invitation to the wedding. Not wanting anything to spoil his happiness, Joe thinks nothing of dismissing the Miligans – unaware of the massive ramifications their row is about to cause.
With Ruby’s words ringing in his ears about not revealing what he knows about Dawn, Caleb tries his best to appear unruffled and let the whole sorry situation play out naturally. However, Joe’s arrogant attitude continues to wind Caleb up, and he can’t resist sticking the knife in…

“Caleb finally reveals the truth,” explains our mole. “He gleefully tells Joe that Dawn has no intention of marrying him, and is planning to run off with Billy and the children.
