A teenage boy has been seriously injured after an e-scooter incident in Coolock, Dublin yesterday afternoon.
Gardaí were alerted to the incident on the Greencastle Road shortly after 4pm.
The teenager who was driving an e-scooter was discovered on the roadside with serious injuries.
He was taken to Beaumont Hospital where his condition is described as serious.
The scene had been closed for forensic examination but has since reopened.
Gardaí have appealed for anyone who was travelling in the area this afternoon to come forward.
They are particularly interested in hearing from anyone with camera or dash-cam footage.
