A Kerry councillor says he couldn’t give two monkeys about GDPR and CCTV cameras must be installed at dumping blackspots.
Cllr Charlie Farrelly made the plea after what he described as “truck load” of rubbish was dumped at Knockatee, Cordal.
He says this is the third time this location has been targeted by flytippers in recent years, and it’s heartbreaking for people in the area.
The independent councillor claims the evidence shows the rubbish was being stockpiled for months before being dumped.
Cllr Farrelly says Kerry County Council need to take the gloves off and put stricter measures in place – because fines mean nothing to people who are flytipping.
