Emmerdale’s Jimmy King is in turmoil next week, as he comes to terms with being double crossed by Caleb and Ruby Miligan. Caleb is at the heart of the action in upcoming episodes, as he helps Billy Fletcher bring down their mutual enemy Joe Tate – with Dawn set to run away with Billy and jilt fiancé Joe on their wedding day.
Joe isn’t the only local Caleb has crossed though, and when his cruel conning of Jimmy comes to light, he faces the consequences of stitching up his former business partner.

Jimmy was forced to sell his shares in the haulage firm he and the Miligans co-owned when a delivery was sabotaged, but Caleb orchestrated the whole thing so he could seize full ownership of the business.
When this scheme is exposed, Jimmy feels bitterly betrayed and is hurt by the discovery that Caleb and Ruby were not really his business partners, rather his rivals.
In next week’s episodes, Jimmy gets another payout, on top of the money he’s getting for his half of the haulage. This extra cash comes courtesy of Caleb, who is hoping that this sweetener buys Jimmy’s silence on the scam.
While Ruby doesn’t seem to be too affected by recent events, Caleb’s guilt continues to grow, so he is trying to make amends for what happened with Jimmy.
However, it is revealed that this betrayal has affected Jimmy in more ways than just financially. When Jimmy offloads to Bob about being played, he admits it’s made him question his lot in life.

Concerned Bob jumps into action and does his very best to cheer Jimmy up but feels there’s more his forlorn friend’s mood and suspects that there is something a bit deeper troubling him.
Is Jimmy hiding another big secret, and will this be revealed within the chaos of the week?
It was reported earlier this year that beloved character Jimmy is set to be killed off, with actor Nick Miles said to be leaving the soap after 22 years.
As Joe and Dawn’s dramatic wedding day takes a frightening turn and the crowd hear of a shocking incident, could Jimmy be involved in this mayhem?
