A woman in her 80s who was seriously injured after she was struck by a car in Co Mayo on Thursday has died.
The incident happened on Glebe Street in Ballinrobe at around 4.20pm.
The woman was taken to Mayo University Hospital, but has since died from her injuries.
Gardaí are continuing to appeal to any witnesses, or any road users with camera footage (including dash-cam), from the n84/Glebe Street area between 3.50pm and 4.50pm on Thursday 20 August to contact Claremorris Garda Station on 094 9372080, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any garda station.
