Westlife star Nicky Byrne paid a proud tribute to his twin sons Jay and Rocco after they received their Leaving Certificate results, sharing a heartfelt post to Instagram

Nicky Byrne’s sons, Jay and Rocco, had a momentous Friday, joining thousands of fellow students across the country in receiving their Leaving Certificate results.
The proud dad has since taken to social media to share a heartfelt tribute to the pair.
Results day is always an exhilarating yet nerve-shredding occasion, not just for students but for parents nationwide, as sixth-year pupils marked the completion of their final secondary school milestone.
Taking to Instagram, Nicky couldn’t contain his pride, writing: “These Boys amaze me! @roccobyrne14 @jay.byrne7”.

The Westlife star also posted a photo of the twins, which drew a flood of congratulatory messages in the comments section, reports RSVP Live.
Proud mum Georgina Ahern responded with a string of love heart emojis, while Yvonne Connolly chimed in with a clapping hands emoji.
Irish television presenter Anna Daly cheekily quipped: “The mother’s brains! !”.
August has proven to be a particularly special month for the family, with Nicky and Georgina marking 23 years of marriage, having been together since they were teenagers before tying the knot in France in 2003.
Over the years, the couple have welcomed Jay, Rocco and their daughter Gia. Gia reached her own milestone earlier this year when she made her confirmation in April, looking stunning in a gorgeous pink dress.

Nicky spoke to RSVP earlier this year about how he and the rest of Westlife balance their hectic schedule around their family. “There’s a lot of time off in between,” Nicky told us.
“Now that we’re older gentlemen with children in schools – my boys are doing their Leaving Cert this year for example – and we’re in control of our own destiny, we don’t miss things that we can avoid missing; things like school exams, birthdays, that kind of thing.
“When we’re abroad we like to do three weeks, no longer than that, and then a month at home. That’s where my podcast has really filled my time, I’m thoroughly enjoying that and hoping to keep that going.”
