A spur-of-the-moment ticket purchase in Portmagee last month, has led to a €1 million Lotto Plus 1 top prize.
Someone in Kerry has come forward and claimed their prize, which came via a Quick Pick ticket, sold on Thursday 16th July at Deo’s Shop and Portmagee Post Office.
It’s emerged that the winner only decided to buy a ticket, while stopping off for an ice cream with a friend.
The life-changing win went unnoticed for several days until the player heard a radio report about the unclaimed €1 million prize sold in Portmagee.
