Landed a Punchestown handicap in December. Shaped as if back in form this season here (23f) in June, taken out of the race with a tack problem, but failed to build on that when eighth of 18 at Galway (23f) last time.

Took a while to get off the mark over hurdles when scoring at Kilbeggan (19f) last month, but won at the first attempt sent chasing in maiden at Tramore (2¾m) 15 days ago. Had a fair bit in hand last time and can make another bold bid on handicap chase debut.

Has made a positive start for current yard this season, building on reappearance effort to open his chase account in handicap at Kilbeggan 5 weeks ago. Impressed with how he travelled through the race last time and he’s not taken lightly.

Fair winning hurdler who has reached a similar level over fences this season, taking advantage of his reduced mark in handicap over C&D in July. Let down by his jumping at Galway later in the month, but could fare better back here.
