The Traitors Ireland returned to our screens on Sunday night, and one person caught the eye of the viewers.
Fionula Linehan is one of the contestants stepping into the castle for the brand-new season of The Traitors Ireland, but eagle-eyed viewers may recognise her from another Irish television show.
One of Fionula’s most recognisable screen credits is the hugely popular Irish comedy The Young Offenders.

She appeared in the original 2016 film, which starred Alex Murphy and Chris Walley as best friends Conor and Jock.
Fionula was credited as the DIY Cashier in the movie.
She later returned to the TV adaptation of the series, appearing as Woman on Bus and Neighbour #1 across the show’s run.

During Sunday night’s debut episode of season two of Traitors Ireland, Fionula left quite the impression, being chosen as a Traitor alongside Carla and Páraic K.
At the end of the first episode, the trio were tasked with their first mission: to choose a fourth Traitor to join them.
Further, Siobhán revealed that the mystery Traitor will have the final say on who is to be murdered first.

Fionula went first, suggesting Sean, as she revealed people would be likely persuaded by him, as well as believe him.
Meanwhile, Páraic suggested Laura, as he claimed she would be underestimated, while Carla suggested Adele, as she has already formed alliances with three others.
However, the episode was cut short just before the reveal, leading fans to theorise who could be the fourth “big traitor” who will make that final decision.
