The second series of The Traitors Ireland began last night on RTÉ One, with a Mayo man appearing as one of the 23 contestants.
The Traitors, which airs over four weeks, pits the competitors against one another, with those taking part labeled as the faithful and the traitors. It is the faithful’s job to identify the traitors, with the traitors “eliminating” the faithful throughout.
The winning pot can add up to 50,000 by the end of the series.
Among those competing is Mayo man Seán Adair, a 59-year-old Emergency Management Officer.
Also from the West is Donal, a 24-year-old teacher from Leitrim, Gráinne, a horse-riding instructor hailing from Sligo, and 29-year-old Saorise, a HR specialist from Galway.
