A case of illegal fishing has been reported in Co. Waterford.
Inland Fisheries Ireland (IFI) have confirmed that they are preparing a prosecution case against a man in Co. Waterford.
The individual is alleged to have used an illegal net in a ‘coastal river’.
The environmental agency seized a green net and 24 trout.
IFI have been reached for further comment.
