Gardaí are appealing for information after rails were damaged and graffiti sprayed on the walls of a historic south Donegal church.
The incidents occurred at the Church Of Our Lady Star of the Sea in Bundoran sometime between August 1st and August 8th, but only recently reported to the guards.
“It has been reported that a number of youths have frequently been gathering at that location in the late evening/night times,” a garda spokesperson said.
“We urge the public to contact Gardaí immediately should they ever observe a gang of youths in or around the church grounds. Any type of suspicious activity, people or vehicles in or around a church or any place of worship should always be reported to Gardaí without hesitation.”
