Walter passed away, peacefully, at University Hospital Kerry on Tuesday 1st September 2026.
Walter will be deeply missed by his devoted wife Lena, his son Wally, daughters Anna and Kate, brother John and sister Maureen. He was predeceased by his daughter Mary, brothers Denis, Thomas, Michael, and Vincent, sisters Noreen, and Kathleen infant twin brothers James and Patrick.
Walter will be sadly missed by his loving grandchildren, sons-in-law, Pa, James and David, Wally’s partner Kathryn, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, friends, neighbours and loyal customers.

Reposing in the Rose Chapel, Hogan’s Funeral Home, Tralee, V92 FX76, on Thursday 3rd September from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Funeral arriving to the Church of Our Lady and Saint Brendan, Tralee on Friday 4th September at 1230pm for Requiem Mass for Walter will be celebrated at 1.00pm. Streamed on https://stbrendansparishtralee.net/ .
Burial afterwards in Rath Cemetery, Tralee.
