Doonbreedia, Castlehill, Ballina, Co. Mayo – born on the 16th day of May 1933 – died peacefully on the 2nd September 2026 at Peamount Healthcare, Newcastle, Co. Dublin.
Pre-deceased by her dearly beloved husband Fintan Cadden, sisters Norah and Bridget, brothers Michael & John, daughter-in-law Janice Lau Burke.
Deeply missed by her loving children Vera, Carmel, Fionán, Christopher, Caroline, Fabian (Aidan), Lourde, Barry, Nodhlag, Fergal & Shane.
Always remembered and loved by her daughters–in-law Bernie, Elaine and Zara, sons-in-law Rashid, Jim, Robin, Tom, sister Barbara, brothers Frank, Martin, Vinnie and Stephen, grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Leonard’s Funeral Home Lahardane (F26 CV60) on Sunday evening from 4 o’clock until 7 o’clock.
Funeral Mass on Monday at 12 noon in St. Patrick’s Church, Lahardane with burial afterwards in Addergoole Cemetery.
