After a short illness on 7th of September 2026.
Predeceased by her parents Pat and Bridget Cattigan and her brother John.
She will be sadly missed by her loving husband Anthony Edward, daughters Majella, Breedge, Mairéad and son Anthony Gerard, her loving sister Breege Lewthwiate (Preston, England), her sons in law, James, Andrew and Alec, her daughter in-law Fiona. Her adored grandchildren Cóil, Tommy, Harry, Jamie, Róisin, Chloe and Kerry. Her sister-in-law Kathleen, her brother-in-law Adrian, nephews and niece, cousins and wonderful neighbours and wide circle of friends.
Mary will be reposing in Sweeney’s Funeral Home (F28 HN81), Achill Sound on Wednesday September 9th from 5:00pm with removal at 6:30pm to the Church of St. Columba, Belfarsad.
Requiem Mass on Thursday 10th September at 12:30pm with burial afterwards in Polranny Cemetery.
