Austen Allen from Ardara is just two wins now from realising his dream of becoming an octochamp on Countdown.
Austen, who works in medical records at Letterkenny University Hospital, won for the sixth time on the iconic Channel 4 show, overcoming Neil 101-33.
It is also his sixth time to pass the magical 100 mark having previously scored 110, 108, 108, 107 and 104 in the last week.
Austen scored with the eight-letter SPROUTED, NEONATES and URINATES during another impressive display.
Neil, a from Buckinghamshire, revealed he worked as a paper boy and delivered to the actor Sid James in his young days.
However, it was Austen who carried on winning here.
Despite not scoring with his opening attempt, hangout (missing a hyphen) with Neil spelling out toughen, Austen soon inched his way ahead on the scoreboard.
Both players picked out WAXIER for six, while Austen also spotted EMPLOYS, NIRVANA and INFLAME for seven, but didn’t score on an attempted seven with dogtail.

On the numbers, Austen – who has a penchant for choosing four large and two small numbers – got seven points when summing up to 220 with a 218 target.
Austen scored maximum points on a 947 target while he also outscored Neil in getting to a testing 429. Austin also managed seven points when rounding to 721 with a 720 target.
