He has already become a favourite to win this year’s Big Brother, but whether he takes home the winner’s crown, or not, is irrelevant as he’s entered the show’s history books for a more important reason.
In front of an audience of millions, Frankie Taber went to the Diary Room and bravely opened up about the personal secret that has caused him to be ‘in pain’ for nearly two years.
The courageous 23-year-old marketing manager from London broke down in tears as he confessed to Big Brother his real reason for taking part in the reality show on ITV2, revealing he had not told any of his friends and family his secret before going into the house, because he felt ‘shame’.

“I’ve come on this show to come out because I’m bisexual and like, I’ve been in pain for so long now probably about a year and half, two years,” he announced.
“I mean just the guilt and the shame that I’m carrying from it, and I don’t know, I just feel like I’ve let down a lot of people.”
As he began sobbing, Big Brother gently told him: “Frankie, Big Brother doesn’t think you’ve let anyone down.”
Within minutes Frankie began trending on social media, as BB fans flocked to sites such as X, to share how his brave admission about his sexuality made them emotional.
One user labelled him “our bi king” and remarked how Frankie’s candid confession coincided with Bi Visibility month.
“Frankie bisexual king coming out during bi visibility month let’s f**kin gooooo #bbuk” they penned.
A second typed: “So beautiful and brave from Frankie #BBUK”
Another Big Brother viewer, claimed: “It’s clear Frankie has been around a lot of toxic masculinity on the outside and being with such a diverse cast has made him immediately comfortable it’s a pleasure to see #BBUK”

Others wrote about how Frankie’s emotional announcement moved them to tears.
“Crying over Frankie bless him, thinking his friends will leave him for being bisexual and feeling like he can only come out in an environment where his friends/family can’t contact him. Frankie you are so loved #BBUK,” said one.
Another viewer went on to say: “I thought Frankie was a hard core reform voter! This has made me see a different side to him omg. Protect that man at all costs.”
Meanwhile, other fans pointed out Frankie’s courage: “Well done to him for his bravery,” posted a viewer to the platform X.
Another Big Brother fan said Frankie’s television revelation was “One of the most important TV moments of the year, bisexual representation is so significant.”
Earlier on Tuesday, the show had shared a teaser clip of the episode, which showed Frankie visibly emotional as he chatted to his housemates in the bedroom.
Before joining this year’s series, Frankie shared he had been a huge fan of the show since the age of eight, and had “always wanted to do it”. When asked what he’d bring to the iconic house, he said: “Well, all types of things. Entertainment. Me being funny and getting on with quite a lot of people as well.
“I’m quite an interesting character. I don’t think there’s a lot of people like me, so I feel like it’s going to cause a bit of a divide. I feel like some people will like me and some people are going to hate me. But I think I’ll bring a lot of different things.”
