Deliberately, the more passive areas — for sleep and refuge — are accessed separately from the shared floors. Where the communal spaces open outward, the bedrooms draw the atmosphere inward, each carrying its own mood through colour and pattern. “A hand-painted black-and-white landscape engulfs one bedroom; another is wrapped in deep tones washed by natural light,” shares Kavya. A third room holds a soft mural that settles the space into quiet calm, while a fourth departs from the rest entirely, built around a palette of blue and a more contemporary character. “The rooms are storied,” adds Shruthy. “Softer fabrics, veneer, stone, and wallpaper create quieter settings, with artwork and considered details allowing each generation a measure of individuality.”
