The death has occurred of Bridie Duignan (née Mullen) of Coolebawn, Mohill, Co. Leitrim and formerly of Latton, Co Monaghan who passed away peacefully on Friday 18th September 2026 aged 91 after a brief illness at Sligo University Hospital.
Predeceased by her loving husband Desmond and recently by her lifelong friend and sister-in-law Mamie Duignan. Deeply regretted by her sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Frankie, Des and Cliona, John and Carmel. Grandchildren Claire, David, Bláthnaid, Aoife, Donal, Eoghan, Corinne, Shane, Darren, Kasey, great grandchild Katie, sisters Maura and Nan Mullen (Latton), friends and neighbours.

Bridie will be repose at her home on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th of September between 4-8 pm.
At Coolebawn, Mohill, Co. Leitrim,(N41 WY04)
Funeral Mass in St. Patrick’s church Mohill on Monday 21st of September 2026 at 2.00pm followed by burial in St Mary’s cemetery, Church of Ireland, lower Main Street, Mohill.

Bridie lived a long, healthy and active life, appreciating everything that she had and supported throughout her life by her unwavering Catholic faith.
