An appeal has been made to help reunite a family with a sentimental ornament which was mistakenly donated to a charity shop in Buncrana.
Local Councillor Jack Murray has shared the appeal on behalf of a local family, who misplaced the object whilst in the midst of moving house.
The ornament, depicting the Madonna and Child, was mistakenly placed in a box alongside other items being donated, and was handed in to the iCARE Charity Shop on Buncrana Main Street approximately 12-14 weeks ago.

“The ornament carries significant sentimental value to the family, and they would dearly love to get it back,” Cllr Murray said.
“If you purchased it, or know someone who may have, the family will happily reimburse whatever was paid for it.”
