Looks like Honor is working on two new wide phones – foldable and non-foldable, just like Huawei. A new piece of information suggests that the company is up with some innovative creations ahead of the Magic 9 smartphone series debut.
As noted by Weibo tipster @SmartPikachu, Honor is developing a wide, flat-screen device and a wide foldable. However, the launch time was not part of the leak.
The tipster added that consumers looking for a standard form-factor device can wait till the end of this month, as the Honor Magic 9 series is on its way to hit the stage.
Honor has been in the news headlines for quite some time about launching wide foldable phones, but something similar to the Huawei Pura X View is a new surprise.
Since the launch of the Pura X Max in March this year, many brands have begun developing a broad folding phone. Samsung, Apple, and Xiaomi even unveiled their creations in the market, competing with Huawei’s wide-fold handset.
Making this competition fierce, Huawei introduced the Pura X View this month – a non-foldable twin of the Pura X Max. While it has many WOW factors, its wide form factor has obtained the most attention in the market, taking sales to a new high.

It seems Honor is ready to challenge Huawei in the “wide flat-screen” segment. However, the launch time of the two Honor wide foldable phones remains unclear at present.
