A man in his 60s has died following a collision involving a car and a bus in Co Waterford yesterday evening.
The collision occurred at around 8pm on the N25 between Youghal and Dungarvan at Kinsalebeg.
The driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene.
The bus driver and passengers were assessed at the scene and no serious injuries were reported.
The road was closed for a technical examination but has since reopened.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses, particularly anyone travelling on the N25 between Grange and Pilltown Cross between 7.30pm and 8pm last night and who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) is asked to contact Dungarvan Garda Station on 058 48600, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any garda station.
The man’s death brings to four the number of people killed on the roads yesterday, following separate crashes in Limerick, Wexford and Meath.
