Teacher burnout is driving an exodus from the profession – with a large number struggling to cope with the demands of their job, which is impacting their mental health and overall well-being, a recent study shows.
Researchers at Dublin City University (DCU) in April found that 86pc of the teachers were suffering from burnout, with 28pc rating their mental health as poor.
