Introducing their Chiffon Floral High Neck Midaxi Column Dress, £55, M&S has done it yet again and delivered a piece that is a successful mix of style, quality and the wow factor.

Let’s start with the gorgeous print; a blue and yellow flower pattern which contrasts beautifully with the black lightweight chiffon material. Guaranteed to get heads turning, it’s the autumn twist on florals we didn’t know we needed.

But while the print is certainly the head-turner, the cut and style of the midaxi is worth shouting about too. Designed with a subtle high-neck, the dress falls in a column shape which is hugely flattering – helping to elongate the body.

The M&S floral midaxi also has an asymmetric seam just below the hips for low-key shaping.

Comfort wise, the material is described as “light” and it also has full lining, meaning you should feel at ease in this dress all day long.

This floral design is available in sizes 6-24 but is only cut in the standard length which is approximately 130cm from neck to hem.

This autumn win works perfectly as a standalone fashion statement but will also look great under a black leather jacker or cropped blazer.
