“Boy Meets World” star Will Friedle is on the mend after a trip to the hospital.

The actor revealed on his “Pod Meets World” podcast with co-stars Rider Strong and Danielle Fishel that he recently “woke up badly peeing blood.”

While the hospital stay was brief, Friedle’s recovery continues.

“Long story short, I’m still in the middle of it. I have a kidney stone,” he explained. “I’ve got three days of just waiting to see.”

According to Friedle, doctors told him the stone was too small to be broken up with medical intervention.

“Once again, size matters,” he joked, “and above a six is they can do stuff to it, but it’s stuff that’s apparently very invasive. Where mine’s a four—which again I heard is average and most women like.”

Friedle also noted that of all days, his day at the hospital was when fans seemed to recognize him more than ever.

“It gets better,” he said. “Because for some reason, on this day, in that hospital, I was more famous than I’ve ever been in my life.”

He continued, “One of the nurses comes up to me, and does the Feeny call. She goes, ‘So, here you go, you have a copay, and oh, you want to put it on a credit card?’ I’m like, ‘Yeah, sure.’ Like reach over and I grab and hand her the credit card. And then she looks at me. She goes, ‘Feenay, Fe-hee-nay.’”

“I was like, ‘Thank you so much. Just, just filled up a glass with blood, but thank you,’” he quipped. “‘It’s very sweet that you’re that you’re watching.’”

But Friedle was happy with his care, saying, “They couldn’t have been sweeter there. They really couldn’t have been nicer.”

And with a little time, Friedle will be fully recovered.
