Catherine Connolly’s team is refusing to remove a campaign video that features a clip of Michael D Higgins used without his permission.
The video features a succession of supporters praising Ms Connolly, and uses short clips of President Higgins as well as his predecessors Mary Robinson and Mary McAleese, although they are not speaking about Ms Connolly.
