Joanne Cantwell might well have been challenging her inner Marilyn when she stepped on stage to host the GAA All-Star Awards on Friday.
The annual awards recognise GAA’s cream of the crop for the year but also deliver on the style front, and Joanne dressed to impress on the night.
The host side stepped autumn-winter’s deeper hues for a blush pink option that was a refreshing red carpet style choice.

Joanne’s dress was a strapless design reminiscent of the Hollywood star’s appearance in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes but with a contemporary twist.
The dress features diamante detailing on the waistband and around the neckline that culminates in a sparkly bow at the front to match the waistband.
The figure-hugging fit of the dress is pure old Hollywood and a stunning choice for the occasion, with a boned top and long column skirt with a subtle side slit to the back.

Joanne’s dress is the Precious Strapless Gown from the brand-of-the-moment Rebecca Vallance and retails for €1025 on the brand’s website.
Elsewhere, the players’ partners and guests also brought their style A-game on the night.

Wien appeared to be the top choice of colour on the night, with a number of the ladies in attendance rocking one of the season’s hottest shades on the night
