Public urged to report side effects of medicines

People taking medicines are being urged to watch out for side effects and report them to the Health Products Regulatory Authority.

The appeal comes at the start of a global medicines safety campaign involving 120 countries.

The HPRA received more than eight and a half thousand reports of suspected side effects last year.
