Fresh off the back of some cosy Halloween binge-watches, it’s now time to turn our attention to some of the exciting TV shows that’ll be hitting our screens in November.

Black Doves, Netflix’s hit spy thriller, will be back with its highly-anticipated second season this week. The show’s debut saw it become a huge hit for the streaming platform, and Digital Spy’s four-star review branded it “unmissable” at the time.

Elsewhere Rivals will also be bringing us more episodes this month, and Diane Morgan will be back on the BBC with Cunk on Cinema.

So, without further ado, here are seven shows you need to watch next month!

The second season will see Helen walking an even finer line within her double life, as her unsuspecting husband sets his sights on becoming Prime Miinister. Meanwhile Happy Valley star Sarah Lancashire is back as the mysterious Mrs Reed, head of the Black Doves organisation, while new stars joining include Ambika Mod (One Day), Babou Ceesay (Wolfe) and Sam Riley (Mint).

Yellowjackets season 4christina ricci, yellowjackets season 3

Paramount+

The fourth and final season of the beloved mystery thriller should deliver us all of the answers that we’ve been waiting for, as the story brings us to the rescue of the surviving members of that dreaded plane crash.

Told through dual timelines, Yellowjackets has darted between past and present to piece together what happened in the wilderness, where a bunch of teenagers were marooned from society’s rules and forced into survival mode. Meanwhile, those that made it to adulthood (RIP Snackie) are still grappling with their experiences years later.

The critically-acclaimed psychological drama has made stars out of its younger cast including Ella Purnell and Sophie Thatcher, and also boasts the star power of Melanie Lynskey and Christina Ricci.

It’ll be a big month for fans of a female-led, action-packed, undercover thriller, with Keeley Hawes returning to screens as retired assassin Julie Green in the second season of Prime Video’s popular series.

Freddie Highmore’s Edward, Julie’s estranged son, will be forced to once again team up with his mum after his new wife Kayla (Shalom Brune-Franklin) gets kidnapped on their honeymoon.

Digital Spy’s five-star review of the first season branded the show a “gutsy take on the genre” and like “nothing we’ve seen before” – but will the follow-up measure up?

“We have a full-on villain this season, in a way that was quite different before. This third season is darker, more dangerous. No-one is safe,” showrunner JD Payne has teased.

A real ensemble piece, Rings of Power will welcome back a lot of the same main cast members – with Stranger Things favourite Jamie Campbell Bower and Eddie Marsan coming on board.
