It is a happy day in Aisling O’Reilly’s house as the sports presenter welcomed her first child, alongside her husband, Colm Maginn.
The GAA+ presenter revealed that the couple, who tied the knot nearly two years ago in Portugal, had a little boy. They have already brought their little man home, as Aisling filmed a black-and-white video of her hubby carrying him out of the hospital, before taking over.
Aisling gave her son the sweetest Irish name and shared a sweet tribute to the newborn on social media.

The couple chose the name Sétanta, writing: ‘Our wee Sétanta Seán Maginn. A name of courage, strength and bravery. A love like no other.’
Sétanta is the given childhood name of the legendary Irish hero Cú Chulainn, nephew of King Conchobar mac Nessa. The name evokes a fiercely loyal, brave protector who stands his ground in the face of danger.
Aisling also shared a black-and-white selfie of the family of three, as the couple cuddled up in bed with their little one. Famous faces flocked to the comment section to congratulate the couple.

‘Aaah. Comhghairdeas libh. Xxox,’ Louise Cantillon penned. Suzanne Kane wrote: ‘Huge congratulations Ais. Welcome to the world, Sétanta. Hope you’re okay, mind yourself.’
‘Amazing news, huge congrats,’ Anna Geary said, while Evanne Ní Chuilinn added: ‘Comhghairdeachas.’
The new mum revealed the news that she was expecting after as she co-presented the panel for the All-Ireland quarter-final between Mayo and Cork in June. Later on that day, the Meath native posted her news in a very creative way.
Holding a GAA football in front of her, the camera begins to zoom out. As it does, she drops the ball to reveal her bump. In the caption, she wrote, ‘Our greatest teammate is on the way.’
Congratulations to the happy couple!
