Mayo hotel ranked as best in Ireland on international list

The Lodge at Ashford Castle has yet again received top honours as the Mayo hotel was listed as the top venue in Ireland as part of the Condé Nast Traveler’s 2025 Readers’ Choice Awards.

The well-known venue in Cong on the shores of Lough Corrib is renowned across the country for their top-rate cuisine, hospitality, and plenty more besides, making it an ideal place for those looking to enjoy some much-needed rest and relaxation in the West of Ireland.

Now, the hotel had received plaudits on the world stage. Condé Nast, a British travel publication, runs an annual readers’ choice award where they celebrate some of the top hotels, cuisines, countries, cities, spas, and more.

In the poll of their US readers, The Lodge at Ashford Castle was voted as the top hotel in the country.
