Poseidon Diving Systems has launched the Xstream 360, a new first-stage regulator featuring a true 360-degree rotating turret to aid hose routing.
The new first stage has been designed to allow connected hoses to move freely around the first stage without becoming caught on the valve wheel.
Poseidon says the result is a cleaner, more flexible regulator configuration across a wide range of diving setups, without sacrificing the performance, cold-water capability and service philosophy of the Xstream platform.
‘With Xstream 360, we wanted to give divers significantly more freedom in how they configure their regulator without compromising what Xstream is already known for,’ said Daniel Benér, Head of Global Sales.
‘The 360-degree turret adds flexibility and cleaner hose routing, while retaining the proven Xstream performance and service platform that our dealers, service centres and divers already know.’

The Xstream 360 features:
True 360° rotating turret design
4 x IP ports integrated into the rotating turret
1 x axial IP port
2 x fixed IP ports
2 x fixed HP ports
Balanced and compact first-stage design
Integrated TDA anti-freeze protection
Poseidon ruby ball valve technology
EAN40 ready
No additional service tools required
‘Designed around the diver’
Poseidon says that the Xstream 360 has been developed to provide greater flexibility when configuring a regulator system, as the rotating turret enables hoses to naturally follow the diver’s setup and movement.
More choice for hose routing makes the new first stage particularly versatile for most configurations, including standard recreational setups, or technical long hose, doubles, sidemount and rebreather diving.

For rebreather divers, the flexibility of the 360° turret creates additional options for how hoses can be routed around the rebreather system.
Depending on the configuration, this gives the diver more freedom to position hoses around cylinders, breathing-loop components and other equipment, helping create a cleaner and more adaptable setup.
Beyond the hose routing, at the heart of the first stage is Poseidon’s ruby ball valve technology, a core element of the Xstream design developed around precision, durability and consistent performance across even the most demanding environments.
Cold-water performance has long been a defining characteristic of Poseidon’s Xstream platform and the Xstream 360 continues this approach with integrated Poseidon TDA anti-freeze protection.
Poseidon has said that one of the key considerations during the development of Xstream 360 was to introduce new functionality without unnecessarily increasing complexity for dealers, service centres and distributors.
The Xstream 360 therefore requires no additional dedicated service tools, which the manufacturer says will allow service centres already supporting Xstream regulators to integrate the new Xstream 360 into their existing infrastructure.
