BEDFORD COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — A ribbon cutting was held Friday morning for a business that focuses on natural wellness in Bedford County.
Southern Salts began as a vision to create a space that focuses on health, healing and relaxation.
The business offers different types of services including red light therapy as well as salt therapy in which generators put 99.99% pure salt into the air which they said helps with asthma, your skin, bronchitis and more.
Co-owner Erin McVicker said, “So, it just really helps your health and wellness. If you’re a smoker, if you work in concrete, anything of the sorts, it just really helps clear your lungs out. I mean, you’re relaxing, but there’s so many more benefits with it than just sitting in the room and enjoying the ambiance of the light.”
Southern Salts is located at 107 S. Richard Street in Bedford.
