The reopening of the N61 between Boyle and Tulsk has further been delayed.
Roscommon County Council has confirmed in a statement that the road is set to re-open on Thursday, 11th September at 7am.

The decision was made to enable essential roadworks that are necessary for the safe execution of works due to recent inclement weather.
There have been diversions in place for almost three months on the road, via Frenchpark, because of the upgrade of the N5.
The road was due to reopen on August 25th but the contractor sought a three-week extension.
