Network Ireland Waterford’s much-anticipated fashion event and ladies charity gala dinner will take place on Friday, October 17.
Glamour and elegance will take centre stage this October as Network Ireland Waterford is to host their inaugural fashion event and ladies charity gala dinner, in collaboration with the Council for Irish Fashion Designers.
The event, which aims to raise funds for the Solas Cancer Support Centre, will take place at the Faithlegg Hotel on Friday, October 17, from 6pm to 9pm.
The evening will include a prosecco reception, dinner, and a panel discussion featuring four Irish designers — Christine Murphy of Urban Aran, Jack Murphy, FéRí, and Caroline Duffy. A presentation of work from members of the Council of Irish Fashion Designers will also form part of the programme.
Funds raised on the night through a raffle will go towards supporting services provided by the Solas Cancer Support Centre.
Ann Marie Shannon, president of Network Ireland Waterford and managing director of Veritas Chartered Accountants and Registered Auditors, said the event represented a significant milestone for the organisation.
“This event goes beyond fashion – it is about uplifting women, fostering connection, and making a critical difference locally. We are honoured to support the Solas Cancer Support Centre, who offer vital care to those affected by cancer,” she said.
Waterford designer Christine Murphy said she looked forward to the collaboration.
“The Council of Irish Fashion Designers are thrilled to host its first national event in Waterford and we really look forward to sharing details of Irish design and introduce Irish designers to Waterford consumers,” she said.
Tickets cost €40 for Network Ireland Waterford members and €45 for non-members, with group tables for ten also available. Tickets can be purchased via the Network Ireland website.
