The term “neighbours from hell” is one that has become ubiquitous. Usually, it conjures up images of disputes around music played too loud on weekend nights or bitter arguments over parking spaces or an unruly shrub being allowed to grow untamed over a boundary fence.
However, one Wexford man has spoken of the daily nightmare of living next door to council tenants that have transformed a previously quiet family home into a drug den that regularly sees fist fights, smashed windows, screaming matches and even, in recent times, a petrol bomb attack.
