There’s more Coronation Street drama ahead following the Becky Swain twist this week on the ITV soap.

Spoilers for next week reveal that plot continues, as DI Costello’s involvement in it all looks set to come to light as he warns Becky to keep her head down, with them both at risk of prison. Fresh from finding out this week that Becky faked her death, her dumbstruck wife Lisa Swain takes matters into her own hands.

Fired up she head to the police station and demands an audience with boss Costello. He refuses to be drawn though as Lisa wants to have it out over what happened with Becky.

Kit Green warns Lisa’s fiancée Carla Connor about Costello and suggests Lisa needs to be careful, but he’s stunned by her response when she tells him Becky is alive. Soon, Lisa barges into Costello’s office and demands full answers or she will take Becky’s fake death story to the press – but what will he tell her?

Amidst it all, Lisa still hasn’t told her and Becky’s teen daughter Betsy the truth. Carla summons Becky and Becky breaks down and begs Lisa to let her see their daughter.

Carla encourages this but Lisa refuses to have Betsy hurt again, and tells Becky to stay away – with Carla asking her to leave. Later we see her watching Betsy with Ryan Connor, so will she make contact?

Meanwhile Roy Cropper rumbles the truth and admits he’s hurt by Carla lying to him about Becky’s identity, having figured it out for himself. Lisa pleads Carla’s case, revealing they were trying to protect Betsy.

Elsewhere, teens Dylan Wilson and Brody Michaelis are left protesting about the recent hit and run that’s left Tyrone Dobbs seriously injured. Brody assuers his dad Kit that neither he or Dylan had anything to do with it, claiming he was having a seizure at the time.

Brody then tells Carl Webster, who’s had the teens stealing cars for him, that he and Dylan ditched the car before they went to the hospital. Carl tells them he went to get the car but it was gone, prior to it hitting Tyrone.

But will Dylan be believed after claims he was driving? Kit has it out with Carl, intending to keep his eye on him. Soon Carl is left admitting to dodgy Fiona that he had no choice but to torch the car.

Kit spots them together though and questons Carl, so how will he get out of this one? Tyrone is still in hospital and soon he learns he has suffered a severe spinal injury and is facing a long road to recovery. He wakes up clearly agitated and tells Fiz to find a doctor as he can’t feel his legs – but will he be okay?

Tracy Barlow is still blackmailing Carl over his affair with Abi Franklin, so when she demands more money Abi is left wondering whether it’s time to confess to husband Kevin Webster. Carl won’t hear of it and instead suggests they call Tracy’s bluff.

Soon Tracy’s shop is trashed by a masked thug, so who’s behind it? Finally next week there’s more trouble for Theo Silverton and partner Todd Grimshaw amid a sad abuse plot.

As the couple move in to their new flat, George Shuttleworth pays them a visit leaving Theo annoyed. Later in the week Todd is unable to attend Theo’s meeting with Dee-Dee about child custody because he has to work, and Theo struggles to keep his anger in check.

When Theo shares his concerns about the state of the flat amid the custody battle, Todd teams up with Billy, George and Brian and they decided to clean the place up. Opening the snacks and having a dance around, the group celebrate their effors just as Todd returns home but how will he react?
