Former Ireland goalkeeper Paddy Kenny needed oxygen after being knocked out in a charity boxing match.
Kenny, 47, was sent to the canvas by former Premier League centre back Curtis Davies in the first round of the contest.
The pair were taking part of the charity event organised by ex-Arsenal keeper Graham Stack in aid of Helping Hands, Willow, Sport In Mind, and Play Skill, with a fundraising target set at £500,000.
Former Sheffield United keeper Kenny and Davies, 40, wasted no time in trading leather in the middle of the ring. Both fighters landed some big shots before Kenny was sent sprawling to the canvas and counted out by the referee.
After being given oxygen, Kenny got to his feet again as Davies was declared the knockout winner.
Davies said after the fight: “Really pleased, I’ve worked hard for this, it’s bittersweet, I love Paddy to bits, I didn’t want to have to knock him about but that’s what we’re here to do.
“It’s all for charity, yes, but I enjoyed that win.”
Elsewhere on a card that only featured ex-footballers, former Spurs player David Bentley lost out against ex-Chelsea star Jody Morris.
Former Reading striker Leroy Lita beat David Noble, and Anthony Gardner got the better of Lee Trundle, while Marvin Elliott defeated Greg Halford in the night’s penultimate fight.
