The publisher has seen particular success in the Academic &amp; Professional division, with growth of 20% up to \u00a346.1m &#8220;despite the challenging market conditions in the UK and US&#8221;, which it credits to signing its first\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thebookseller.com\/news\/bloomsbury-exploring-ai-licensing-deals-with-opt-ins-for-authors\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">non-exclusive AI licensing agreement<\/a>, which was\u00a0announced in July.<\/p>\n<p>In the consumer division, the company reported revenue of \u00a3113.4m, down 20% on the previous year from \u00a3141.3m, and profit before tax and highlighted items was \u00a313.4m, compared to \u00a320.6m the previous year.
