<\/p>\nIn another record-breaking year for Ms Connolly’s cosmetics company, Sculpted by Aimee Connolly Cosmetics Ltd, revenues surged by \u20ac10.3m from \u20ac22.23m to \u20ac32.62m – or average weekly revenues of \u20ac627,409 in 2024.<\/p>\n
On the back of the sharp rise in revenues at the make-up and skincare product business, pre-tax profits at the Sculpted by Aimee company increased by 35pc from \u20ac2.89m in 2023 to \u20ac3.9m last year.<\/p>\n
The rapid expansion of the business is underlined by the 47pc growth in revenues last year following revenues rising by 50pc in 2023.<\/p>\n
In their report, Ms Connolly and her fellow directors state that the results for the year were considered satisfactory and \u201cexpect continued growth in the foreseeable future\u201d.<\/p>\n
Last year, numbers employed increased by 86pc from 49 to 91 as staff costs rose from \u20ac2.47m to \u20ac4.46m.<\/p>\n
Founder and CEO Aimee Connolly established her cosmetics business in 2016 after she saved up \u20ac10,000 by working as a freelance makeup artist.<\/p>\n
The business mixes bricks and mortar stores and engaging in-person brand experiences, masterclasses along with its thriving www.SculptedbyAimee.com e-commerce business.<\/p>\n
The firm\u2019s flagship store is located at Grafton Street in Dublin which opened in September 2022 and it also operates stores at Kildare Village, Victoria Square in Belfast and Carnaby Street in London.<\/p>\n
In 2021 Ms Connolly – who has 222,000 followers on Instagram – won the Emerging Category at the EY Entrepreneur of the Year awards.<\/p>\n
The \u2018Sculpted\u2019 brand business sells a range of makeup brushes, lipsticks, palettes, eye lashes, foundations and instant tan.<\/p>\n
Directors\u2019 remuneration last year totalled \u20ac560,417 made up of pay of \u20ac210,417 and pension contribution totalled \u20ac350,000.<\/p>\n
The company recorded operating profits of \u20ac4.07m and interest payments of \u20ac164,994 reduced the profits to a pre-tax profit of \u20ac3.9m.<\/p>\n
The profits last year take account of non-cash depreciation costs of \u20ac300,583.<\/p>\n

The company business is very much a family affair with Aimee Connolly\u2019s mother, Claire and her husband, John Greene sitting on the board with Ms Connolly.<\/p>\n
Mr Greene – who runs a number of Camile Thai franchises with friend and Galway hurling legend, Joe Canning – joined the Sculpted by Aimee board in December 2022.<\/p>\n
The stellar performance in 2024 further strengthened the Sculpted by Aimee company\u2019s balance sheet where accumulated profits totalled \u20ac12.47m at the end of last year.
