\n\tTyla<\/a> followed up her win at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday with an appearance at Pandora\u2019s launch event for its new Talisman collection in New York City on Monday. Footwear took center stage for the musician as she modeled a pair of Giuseppe Zanotti<\/a> sandals<\/a> featuring gold hardware and turquoise stones.<\/p>\n

\n\tTyla\u2019s appearance at the party was expected as she is the face of the Pandora Talisman campaign<\/a>, which presents ancient coin-inspired designs with Latin inscriptions. Her footwear picked up her gold accessories; she wore a striking pair of tribal-inspired caged sandals. A shining gold hardware design adorned the brown suede shoes in front, showcasing a face impressed into a rounded shape in the middle. Light turquoise stones adorned the metal as well, lending the shoes a bright earthy quality. In addition to an open toe and caged design, the sandals were boosted by a stiletto heel.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Giuseppe Zanotti<\/a> set played a crucial role in Tyla\u2019s outfit, which otherwise consisted of a fitted sleeveless turtleneck and calf-length skirt. Decked out in Pandora, she accessorized with draped chains at the waist and layered necklaces. Tyla also modeled the jewelry collection with a vintage Chanel dress at the VMAs<\/a>, where she took home the best Afrobeats award.<\/p>\n

\n\tThese Giuseppe Zanotti caged sandals<\/a> fit right in with Tyla\u2019s adventurous footwear taste \u2014\u00a0she has previously donned edgy studded sandals from Alexander Wang<\/a>, gladiator-style shoes ranging from knee-high boots<\/a> to Ala\u00efa ankle boots<\/a>, and more statement-making shoes. For the VMAs, she kept things classic with a simple pointed-toe black heel.<\/p>\n
