Benjamin Sesko has only had a short period to work with Senne Lammens, but the new Manchester United goalkeeper has quickly made a good impression on his teammates.<\/p>\n

Manchester United made five signings in the summer<\/a> as Ruben Amorim<\/a> looked to strengthen the attacking department and other areas. To the annoyance of some, United overlooked the midfield<\/a>, but they are expected to address that in 2026.<\/p>\n

Bryan Mbeumo<\/a> has scored three goals since his transfer from Brentford. His most recent goal came in United\u2019s 2-1 win over Liverpool<\/a> at Anfield, which was the same game Matheus Cunha<\/a> stood out in despite not registering any goal contributions.<\/p>\n

Other players adapting to their new surroundings include Benjamin Sesko<\/a>, Senne Lammens<\/a> and Diego Leon<\/a>. The only new signing yet to appear in United\u2019s first team<\/a> is Leon, although the 18-year-old made his senior Paraguay debut<\/a> during the October international break.<\/p>\n

These players are still getting to know their new teammates and how to play in Amorim\u2019s 3-4-2-1 system, but they\u2019ll have already struck friendships with the good as well as impressions from their performances in games or training.<\/p>\n

Lammens was slowly introduced to the team after his transfer from Royal Antwerp, as Altay Bayindir<\/a> initially kept his place. That has changed after the last two games, which resulted in United\u2019s first clean sheet of the season.<\/p>\n

The eagerly awaited debut came for Lammens in United\u2019s 2-0 win over Sunderland<\/a> and he was part of the team that won at Anfield last weekend.<\/p>\n

Lammens is now expected to keep his place in the team when United host Brighton at Old Trafford<\/a>.<\/p>\n

However, it\u2019s early days for every new United signing, and they are all trying to prove themselves with consistency. Lammens will soon learn that it is a requirement at the highest level, but he is still developing as a 23-year-old.<\/p>\n

In an interview with Sky Sports, Sesko was asked to describe some of his new teammates with one word, before labelling Lammens a \u2018wall\u2019.<\/p>\n

Lammens\u2019 big physique makes it a fitting description.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe ball just hits him,\u201d Sesko said.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe is great in training as well. I\u2019m really happy for him, especially for those first two games because that first impression is really important. I wish him the best for every single game.\u201d<\/p>\n

Simon Mignolet hails Senne Lammens<\/p>\n

Former Liverpool goalkeeper saw Lammens come through the ranks at Club Brugge, but he has been full of praise for his countryman since his move to Old Trafford.<\/p>\n

Mignolet believes Lammens has the qualities to succeed in the Premier League and acknowledges the calm presence he brings to the defence, which is a world away from what United fans are used to seeing when Andre Onana<\/a> was between the sticks for the previous two seasons.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe has the build and the qualities to succeed in England,\u201d Mignolet said, as quoted by Voetbal Primeur<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s big, explosive, and strong on high balls. And he can save balls that other goalkeepers can\u2019t.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith his shot-stopping, he can score points for United. He\u2019s steady in his head and handles pressure well.
