I think Jana as a character is so loved because he\u2019s the most innocent and gullible one. The audience connects with that innocence and his proactiveness in these extreme situations.<\/p>\n

Your character Jana deserves a universe of his own, don\u2019t you think?
I totally second that! (laughs) I\u2019ve been telling Amar bhai (writer-producer Amar Kaushik) and Niren bhai (writer Niren Bhatt). But then, it can\u2019t just be a creative call when it comes to putting money into a film. So let\u2019s wait and watch. Maybe someday \u2014 fingers crossed.<\/p>\n
When you were asked to be part of Thamma, what was your response?
The response is always positive! I\u2019m just happy to be part of the MHCU (Maddock Horror Comedy Universe). In many ways, I\u2019m lucky that I get to play Jana so often \u2014 it helps me build and sustain a relationship with the audience.<\/p>\n
When do we get to see you back in the MHCU?
Very soon, hopefully. In Bhediya 2, of course \u2014 and maybe in other worlds too. It depends on when Jana is required in the universe!<\/p>\n
Do you prefer dark or comic roles?
I don\u2019t know if I prefer dark roles or if I just get those offers because of the evil character I played in Paatal Lok. Nevertheless, I truly enjoy them because they allow me to explore the darker side of my mind \u2014 which in turn helps me control it in real life.<\/p>\n
Does your success reflect in your bank balance?
Coming from a lower-middle-class household, trust me \u2014 what I\u2019ve achieved financially already feels like a dream come true for a working-class Indian family. That said, my bank balance is definitely amplifying with each project, and I\u2019m looking forward to enjoying my money the way the top 1% of India\u2019s affluent class does!<\/p>\n
