United\u2019s goals were netted by Matheus Cunha, Casemiro and Bryan Mbeumo before Danny Welbeck convered a free-kick to give the visitors some hope of mounting a comeback.<\/p>\n
Charalampos Kostoulas scored another late strike to make it 3-2, but Mbeumo completed his brace in the 97th minute of proceedings to ensure United ran out winners.<\/p>\n
Casemiro was sensational<\/a> for United. In addition to his goal, he also registered an assist for Cunha\u2019s opener. We can press highwe and we know that they are so confident that if we win the ball, we have the players in front of the goal.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThey are so good that you just need one chance when you win the ball, and I think we did really well, especially in the first half.<\/p>\n On Cunha, Amorim hailed the player\u2019s willingness to always take on responsibility, particularly when things are not going too well for the team.<\/p>\n Amorim insisted that beyond Cunha\u2019s goal, he enjoyed the Brazilian\u2019s defensive efforts.<\/p>\n Another player Amorim opened up on is Casemiro.<\/p>\n He remarked about the veteran midfielder, \u201cHe gives a lot of experience. He\u2019s an example for everyone. In the beginning, he was behind every midfielder, even Toby [Collyer]. But he fought and he worked and now he\u2019s back in the national team. He\u2019s so important for us. Today he ran a lot and had to press so high and then return, and he\u2019s doing that.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cSo I\u2019m really pleased with him and the other guys need to look at Casemiro. We understand that football can change really fast. You just need to work for me if I think you are the best one, or I think you are the best one. You are going to play the game if you do the right things.\u201d<\/p>\n The Portuguese coach admitted that United are benefiting from the absence of European football, giving the squad extra time to work on the training ground.<\/p>\n Asked about Mbeumo and what he brings to the side, Amorim said, \u201cHe\u2019s a working machine. He\u2019s so good in transitions. He\u2019s improving when we are organised in the final third. The connection with Amad \u2013 it\u2019s really hard to beat these two guys because they change position, they are really fast and they are good in one vs. one.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cMy role as a manager was to explain what I want from him.
