A man in his 30s has been before the courts charged in connection with an alleged assault of a woman in north Dublin last week.<\/p>\n
Daniel Soave, with an address at Portland Row in Dublin, appeared at Dublin District Court charged with one count of assault causing harm and two counts of threatening, abusive behaviour.<\/p>\n
Garda Colm Maguire from Store Street Garda Station told the court that he arrested the accused for the purposes of charging him just before 6pm yesterday evening.<\/p>\n
The court heard that the 39-year-old made no reply when the two charges of threatening and abusive behaviour were put to him.<\/p>\n
Garda Maguire said garda\u00ed were not objecting to bail but wanted certain conditions attached.<\/p>\n
The court was told Daniel Soave must sign on in a garda station twice a week, provide his phone number to garda\u00ed, notify them if he changes address, and not to engage with any campaigners in the Dublin 1 area.<\/p>\n
Judge Derek Cooney granted bail, and also told the accused that he was not to contact any witnesses in the case and not to post anything online about it.<\/p>\n
Daniel Soave’s barrister told the court that his client was working and would be applying for legal aid.<\/p>\n
