Yet, stock traders fixated on US-China <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2025-10-27\/china-asks-us-to-protect-hard-won-results-before-xi-trump-meet\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" class=\"media-ui-Link_link-tVkXhPLPofs-\" data-component=\"link\">tensions<\/a> say the recovery in profits would mean little to the market should progress in trade negotiations falter.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ArticleBodyText_articleBodyContent__17wqE typography_articleBody__3UcBa\" data-component=\"paragraph\">Profits at firms listed onshore are seen expanding 5.8% year-on-year in the three months through September, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/quote\/3908:HK\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" class=\"media-ui-Link_link-tVkXhPLPofs-\" data-component=\"link\">China International Capital Corp.<\/a>, one of the country\u2019s biggest brokerages.
