{"id":107850,"date":"2025-10-28T05:30:18","date_gmt":"2025-10-28T05:30:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/107850\/"},"modified":"2025-10-28T05:30:18","modified_gmt":"2025-10-28T05:30:18","slug":"second-cafe-in-donegal-town-announces-closure-this-month","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/107850\/","title":{"rendered":"Second caf\u00e9 in Donegal Town announces closure this month"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Dock84 cafe and bakery in Donegal Town has closed its doors for the final time.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"262\" data-end=\"386\">Owned by the O\u2019Hehir family, the business opened on the Diamond in July 2024 as Dock84\u2019s first venture outside Sligo Town.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"388\" data-end=\"492\">The restaurant featured the full range of O\u2019Hehir\u2019s bakery products, along with a selection of custom cakes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019d like to say a heartfelt thank you to all our wonderful customers in Donegal Town for your loyalty and support,\u201d said a closure notice today.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDock84 \/ O\u2019Hehirs Bakery Donegal Town is now closed, but this isn\u2019t goodbye! You can still order your favourite occasion cakes for collection from our Ballybofey and Letterkenny shops.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re so grateful for the memories and look forward to welcoming you soon in our other locations.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dock 84 is the second cafe in Donegal Town to close this month.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.donegaldaily.com\/2025\/10\/24\/donegal-town-cafe-wraps-up-after-year-of-so-much-love-and-effort\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Five Fifty in the Donegal Business Park<\/a> also announced it will cease trading at the end of October.
